Business coach

„A coach is like a football coach. From the sidelines, he helps you assess the situation, develop your strengths and teach you how to win the match. But you have to score the goals.

What is a great business coach like?

„A good coach respects their clients’ work, supports them with their interests and encourages them to achieve their goals.

They build a trusting partnership with the clients, asking questions that help them to think beyond their current frame of mind and to think about their situation in a new expanded framework.

A coach is a good observer who shares their intuitions, thoughts and feelings in order to help their client learn and move forward.”

Sándor Szilágyi

Honda Gold Motor Ltd., Managing Director

“Coaching with Zita has confirmed that I am on the right track towards my goals at work.”

Róbert Mózes

“Finally, working with my direct colleagues has become smoother and more productive for me because of the coaching I had been struggling with for years.”

This is me as a coach

I am Zita Szilágyi, a technical manager, an business coach and an executive coach.

I support and foster the completion of objectives for companies, executives, managers and employees who are struggling with stagnation at individual, managerial, employee or organisational level.

Before Working as a Coach

I started my career as a journalist. I spent almost 15 years in the world of interviews and communication. During this time I had the excellent opportunity to observe different organisational models and leadership strategies at work. Meanwhile, I qualified as an English language teacher, a language skill that I've been using it in my work ever since.

Engineering Background

Earlier I worked in the technical field for 6 years, and during my Master's degree in Technical Management I gained additional skills to better understand what knowledge and skills a good manager needs to keep his subordinates and to be successful in the market. Furthermore, I have also learned about a number of new ways of helping organisations to be more effective, both in the manufacturing and service sectors. Incorporating these into my coaching activities, I support my clients and improve their workplace, the place where they spend a significant part of their lives.

Even in my university years, during my classes, I was concerned about what makes a person exceptional or successful. That’s why I decided to complete the University of Debrecen’s engineering coach training, so that I could carry out my activities in this field with a thorough professional background.

I became a coach

A coach, the solution

In the meantime, I realised that the key lies in self-awareness. It is not only important to know your own abilities, but also to develop them. This includes problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and self-management.

I am constantly improving my knowledge and striving for perfection

In my coaching activities, I am not satisfied with the good, but always want the best for my clients. To achieve this, I am constantly improving my skills. I regularly attend coach training courses and have been learning to achieve a PhD degree in organisational and management science for a year and a half.
